On Friday, December 3, 2021, The Griot Museum of Black History  in partnership with The Research Working Group for “The Land on Which We Dance” are celebrating the legacy of world-famous dancer Josephine Baker, who was born in St. Louis in 1906 and had a lengthy, multifaceted career as a performer and social justice activist.
